Originally from Barcelona I am currently based in Geneva. It was not until 2006 that I had the opportunity to attend art lessons for the first time. I immediately fell in love with the challenge and possibilities that a blank canvas presents.
Since I was frequently relocating with my husband and children to different countries, in 2008 I decided to quit my corporate career. Since then, paint and easel are part of my journey.
Lived experiences in these countries alongside my Mediterranean heritage are key sources of inspiration. A colourful palette and the feeling of gratefulness are always present when I paint.
My background in finance and accounting also influences my work, making me rationalise the free flow of the brush strokes and giving a structured approach to my paintings. My artworks blend abstract and figurative styles with geometrical elements in some works and a touch of realism in others.
My paintings are what I would describe as “feel good art” and my work aims to trigger positive feelings and emotions. In this way, I hope to create a special bond with my audience and encourage people to connect with my art in ways that are most meaningful to them.
My paintings are located in several countries across Asia, Europe and North America.
